Also known as the "100 Rupee Doctor", Dr. Tarkeshwar Kumar is a dedicated surgeon renowned for treating needy patients for just one hundred rupees. He has received numerous awards from Ministers and District Magistrates for his significant contributions to society. During his time at PMCH, he earned various Gold Medals for his excellence. After completing his post-graduation, he began treating underprivileged patients for a nominal fee of one hundred rupees and has never closed his clinic. For his extraordinary and exceptional contribution to healthcare services during the COVID-19 pandemic, he was honored by both the Health Minister of Delhi and the Health Minister of Bihar.
